Update for 2009: Goodbye 2008!

Hello friends!

Well, 2008 is about to come to an end and it’s been a great one! We went to Europe, crisscrossed the USA for SXSW and the AMA Conference in Nashville along with touring to and fro, and released a new album entitled MILES FROM HOME on the Dionysus Records imprint. 2009 promises to be action packed as well – we will be relocating to Austin, TX at the end of next month, going back to Europe (twice!) and expanding our reach to new environs and territories. There’s lots goin’ on, so let’s get to it!

Dec 31st – Highway 99 Blues Club – Seattle, WA – New Year’s Eve Bash!
Jan 23rd – Highway 99 Blues Club – Seattle, WA – Farewell Seattle show – appearing with original recipe Snakehandlers Pete, Liz, and Lew. Also with Rolling Blackouts and our pals The Black Crabs!
Jan 30, 2009 Baker City Elks Club Baker City, OR
Jan 31, 2009 The Roxy Theater Cascade, ID
Apr 30th – May 24th – 2009 European Tour
Jul 8-14, 2009 – Mirande Festival de Country Music Mirande, France
More gigs upcoming, and will be announced as they get confirmed.

You heard right! Dionysus Records has given us green light to compile B-sides and rarities for an exclusive 10″ vinyl and download-only release! We’re looking through the archives from the last 3 releases and may record new material just for this new collectible. As of this time it’s untitled, but look for it at the end of 2009!

Last, but definitely not least, we want to thank you for your support this year – all of you who braved lousy weather, came out to support us on a school night, put us up in your home, fed us, bought records, and subscribed to our mailing list. We couldn’t do this without you!

Well, that’s about it. Don’t forget to update your fan profile with your zip code or country if outside the USA. Here’s our linkage to places on the web:

Happy new year,
