Always a Good Time!

Those Sea Monks get better every time we see them! Both bands tore it up the other night for July 4th celebrations at C Boys to a tight audience!

Thanks so much to the Sea Monks, Michael Bahan, Rick Watson, and Jorge Harada for rockin’ the stage with me- and thanks to Steve, Cecile, and the whole C Boys crew for taking such good care of us!

Hey, BTW, we’re heading into the studio today to start recording a few singles- I’ve been writing a bit, and the band and I have been working on the new songs and can’t wait for you to hear them too. Especially Which Side Is Best, about folks coming to this country to escape difficult times back home, only to be met by further difficulties, racism, and dehumanizing here on our land. The Land of the Free…

Just so you know, not much of my new material is rockabilly per se- there’s a lot of jump blues, swing, and even some gumbo ya-ya thrown in for fun 😉 We’ll keep you posted about the new songs- and hope everyone out there is staying safe and sane! Also, of course, hope to see you at a show sometime soon 🙂
