Maybe never again…?

Howdy friends and fambly- and good morning to you all from ’sunny’ southern California! Actually, it rained here yesterday, and was cold last night- funny, since we’ve been bearing up under heat everywhere else on this tour.

Well, surprisingly, I have to write a blog that’s not as sunny either, as my normal mode of letting you all know how our gig went last night… as far as last night goes then, we played a sweet little venue called the Puka Bar in Long Beach- killer tiki decor and just a great ambiance- we loved it right away. But then, sadly, hardly anyone showed up. Aside from Jorge’s buddy Albert and friends, and our pal Force and his lovely friend Lorelei, we only had about 10 other folks in the room! So, sorry to say this folks, but there’s a great chance we may never play Long Beach again. Now Pasadena, on the other hand- give me some good old fashioned car clubs and local crowds, and I’m a happy gal!!

We play later today at Sam’s in Hollywood- hope to see you all there with kiddies in tow- that’s so cool when you can bring kids to live music shows- then off to Santa Barbara to play Muddy Waters tomorrow evening at 8pm, PT…

Thanks to the folks who did show up last night- we had a great time chatting you all up- and we look forward to seeing you all again soon enough- just not in Long Beach…
