Ruby Dee and The Snakehandlers • March 5-22—The alt-country combo, whose music encompasses honky-tonk, rockabilly and rock ’n’ roll in clever original songs performed with tight instrumentation, stops in Austin as the band begins a tour of the American West ahead of a new album slated for release in May. Their venues include Antone’s Records at 2928 Guadalupe St., Ego’s at 510 S. Congress Ave., Patsy’s Cowgirl Café at 5001 E. Ben White Blvd., and The Oaks Live at 10206 N FM 973 in Manor.
